Can you help me buy a boat even if it’s not in Seattle?
Yes! There are a lot of great boats here, but if the boat you want is somewhere else—anywhere around the world—we still can help you buy it. We have a network of trusted contacts, including captains who can evaluate vessels, provide guidance and even deliver your yacht.
Does it cost anything to work with you?
Buyers pay no commission to work with us—those costs typically are paid by the seller (and split between the buyer’s broker and seller’s broker, if applicable).
Can I buy a boat through an LLC, partnership or other entity?
You’ll want to consult your tax professional before doing so, but we’ve helped clients structure yacht purchases in many different ways.
Will you help me with things like registration, insurance, etc.?
Sure! This isn’t quite like buying a car—it’s best to have someone with specialized expertise and knowledge by your side. We’ll make sure you’ve got everything you need, from the right documentation to insurance coverage to protect your investment.
Where can I moor my new boat?
Finding the right marina and slip for your boat is important—you will want to consider things such as location, price, amenities, security, the amount of water traffic and more. We can help you decide what option is right for your situation.
What if I need to finance my boat?
There are a number of financing options for yacht purchases, and we’re happy to connect you with one of our preferred lenders.
I don’t have any experience boating—can you help?
We can help you get started by recommending classes, captains and crew if needed. We’ll also recommend other resources for you to learn how to enjoy your new boat safely.
