Testing the Northwest waters Summer of 2019, the Horizon PC60 – Powercat.

The Pacific Northwest – known for rain and fog being frequent visitors, certain yacht styles are more common than others. For example, a cabin or pilothouse for protection from the elements and heat.  Or a Trawler style yacht — snub-nosed bluff-bow fishing boats designed for punching through big seas. The wind and waves have plenty of time to develop before they reach our shores, therefore it has a unique bearing on the shape and design of our yachts!

With all of that said, we are gearing up to test out an unfamiliar yacht. We will be introducing a new option for Northwest boaters this summer.

The New Horizon PC60 is coming to Seattle, Summer of 2019!

She has been completely redesigned and now has distinct and very attractive hull side windows. Furthermore, she has a new hard top for the open bridge version. Allowing for it to be fully or partially enclosed, so it suites all cruising conditions.

The Horizon PC60 rises above previous multi-hull yachts with a blend of elegance, stability and efficiency. A comfortable en-suite four-stateroom layout is featured along with numerous interior and exterior entertaining areas. The PC60 also incorporates the ZF Joystick Maneuvering system in addition to the ZF Fly-by-wire Steering system, making operation and handling a breeze.

With the PC60, elegance and Northwest rugged dependability are no longer a contradiction.

The PC60 is well suited to owner operate without losing the luxury and amenities of a larger motor yacht. The aft deck, salon, galley and master cabin are all on the main deck level. Therefore, making for a very comfortable access to all the primary living areas. The lavish on deck master stateroom, gourmet galley and spacious salon ensures the ultimate in comfort and privacy. The large aft deck and open bridge truly make her an ideal platform for Northwest entertaining.

Her highly refined and tank tested hull designs make for a remarkably smooth, soft and stable ride, regardless of the sea conditions. Cruise in comfort at 17 knots, with a top end of 22 knots, or if you are in no hurry, cruise a slow 8 knots with excellent fuel efficiency.
